Buddhism got a right panning\u00a0 \u00a0because of its disengagement with real life and over\u00a0emphasis\u00a0on intellectuality, over service to others. It can also\u00a0be quite atheistic. As in\u00a0 Buddhist\u00a0 meditation groups any one reporting Krise, hearing voices,\u00a0 gets told to ignore\u00a0it because it\u00a0 will pass, in favour of decades of pseudo-intellectualism and ignoring suffering. Which\u00a0is placed there as a challenge t for us to respond\u00a0to. But NO they are waiting to reincarnate and leave this dreadful planet of the apes.
\u00a0Also western intellectual athletes when they don’t like God, can pursue atheist\u00a0Buddhism with vigour. Its their own narcissism motivating them.\u00a0 Western Buddhists can’t be argued with because they are convinced they know far more than anybody else. They can study Buddhist holy book volumes consuming decades thinking they are getting somewhere. So they place themselves\u00a0on a\u00a0pedestal and just can’t\u00a0be reached. Have met them a few times.\u00a0Even the Dalai Lama<\/strong> has complained about Buddhists intellectual athlete boasting– questioning— What practical use is it ? To the sound of crickets.<\/p>\n\n\n
