Episode 5 – Florence Nightingale Debunking History
Comment I left attracted an instructive pseudo and misinformed rebuttal about hearing voices. I wrote
No-one is curious that she was Gnostic and listened to an internal mentoring voice ?

Kwodlibet Disputes this and slowly reveals seemingly receiving medical instruction for how to deal with hearing nonsensical internal voices which occurs sometimes with schizophrenia and PTSD.

A VERY common thing back then. (since 1854) One may say that perhaps even a fashionable one. As the importance of religion in Britain dropped almost to zero so did the cases of hearing magic voices.
So, Purported wisdom claimed. But it’s only partially correct. There is a much bigger category of Gnostic internal voices that come with physical proof.

@Steve Trueblue Sorry, not gonna waste time on watching about people claiming to hear voices, however you wanna call them.
Let me rephrase my original comment so you may understand how a normal person sees it: If someone claims to hear voices it is delusional and it should be treated, either by a trained professional in the field of psychology or medicine. In the past such claims were very common either because of untreated conditions or outright lies perpetrated by people wishing to appear “special” or claim that their actions were more meaningful, or again, “special” because it

@Kwodlibet Your second attempt is still quite muddy. Don’t bother with a third attempt. Actually you are quite wrong. Socrates Plato Marcus Aurelius Roman Emperor, all had an internal mentoring voice. So did Joan of Arc. Just like Florence Nightingale. Those are all historic greats. Who functioned at a higher level than yourself.

@Steve Trueblue Listen dude, all people have internal dialogs with themselves, only delusional people claim that those voices are external. (?) It has been tested many times, those voices know as much as the person hearing them and guess as much as they do. They can never tell you the about the colour of wallpaper on your neighbor’s wall, or a first line in a next chapter of a book you read. I am hearing voices in my head all the time too, they say “Stop killing! no! Kwodlibet, stop killing people! This is wrong!” but I ignore them cos I am not crazy… Get a life man, one can claim anything without the evidence, but it doesn’t make it true, it just makes it look dumb.

@Kwodlibet ” I am hearing voices in my head all the time too, they say “Stop killing! no! Kwodlibet, stop killing people! This is wrong!” but I ignore them cos I am not crazy” Is that an example you just made up ? For this conversation ? Or were you instructed to do so ?

Notice how his instructive testimony, is quite quite wrong
Narrator’s description from the transcript is quite different to Kwodlibet’s reported nonsensical messages. This is a huge difference. This is reported by numerous people with schizophrenia and PTSD and dealt with by atheist materialist psychologists and psychiatrists. These patients present reporting nonsensical verbally violent repetitive ramblings internally. Radically different to what Florence reported
01:45
she clearly heard God speaking to her
01:48
commanding her to take up nursing as a
01:50
vocation eventually her parents were
That was a clear simple mentoring sensible directive to Florence. Huge difference.
Kwodlibet examples useless nonsensical internal voice he reports in his own head
“Stop killing! no! Kwodlibet, stop killing people! This is wrong!” but I ignore them cos I am not crazy…
So @Kwodlibet is talking about another subject altogether
That’s caused by Schizophrenia or PTSD.
Am waiting for the next installment in this conversation. Hope it continues.
